Where does your leather come from?

We only use the highest quality leather from Horween, a tannery based in Chicago, IL and founded in 1905. They’re one of the few remaining American tanneries, and their goal is to make the finest leather in the world.

Horween Leather has resellers all over the country. Generally, we purchase all our Horween leather from two places: Tannery Row, which specializes in supplying smaller quantities of Horween leather to craftspeople, makers and brands like us; and Maverick Leather Company, which we rely on to source Horween leather in rare colors, and the more exotic leather we use to make limited edition and specialty items.

Are all your products really hand crafted?

Certainly. Each piece is cut and stamped in our Brooklyn workshop.

We pride ourselves on executing our designs with the highest level of craftsmanship, whether we do it ourselves or collaborate with local artisans and makers. 

I don’t like what I purchased from you. Can I get a refund?

You can return or exchange any item you purchased from our online store within 30 days of placing the order. We strive to make the buying and refund experience as pleasant and hassle-free as possible. For more information on our refund policy, check out our Shipping & Returns page. If you purchase Henry Green merchandise from one of our retail partners, your purchase is subject to their refund policy.

How should I maintain my leather goods?

The Horween leather we use is of such a high quality that you don't need to do anything to prolong its life or keep it from looking worn or dry. If you want to make your Henry Green products really shine, we highly recommend Leather Honey's cleaners and conditioners. 

How do I know if my laptop/iPad/tablet will fit in the leather sleeve I want to purchase?

Refer to the product description, which will tell you the dimensions of the leather sleeve. Some leather sleeves are made specifically for certain devices, and the product description will include that information, too.

Do you provide a lifetime guarantee on your products?

Yes, we guarantee that any leather product you buy from Henry Green is of such high quality that it will last a lifetime, without the need for any maintenance or upkeep. We like to say that owning one of our products is like having a macaw or a tortoise for a pet. 

Is this all you sell?

We’re always designing and crafting new items to sell, but the process can be time-consuming. The best way to stay apprised of any new Henry Green products is to sign up for our newsletter or follow us on Facebook and Instagram.

If I pre-order an item, how long before I receive it?

When we make an item available to pre-order, that means that it’s been through the prototyping phase and we’re checking to see if you guys like it. If enough people pre-order an item, we promptly take it to the crafting phase so we can send it to you as soon as possible. However, because everything of ours is hand crafted, actually making these things can run into a number of obstacles that prolong the time it takes. When you pre-order an item, we’ll keep you up to date on how long it’ll be until we send it.

Do you offer refunds on pre-orders?

Yes. You can ask for a refund on a pre-order at any time. Remember, we don’t charge your account for pre-ordered items until they’ve been shipped. If you pre-order an item and decide you don’t want it, just send us an email at and let us know.

Can I find Henry Green merchandise in stores?
